* Znalazłem te płytę po około 20 złych - byłem bardzo szczęśliwy, bo pierwszy album Vast Aire to kompletny sztos, a albumy Cannibal Ox rzezają uszy. Czwarta płyta Aire'a to kontynuacja jego roboty - tu nie zmienia się nic. Ciężkie, ale świetne podkłady Pete Rock'a, Oh No, Melodious Monk i innych to najprawdziwszy hip hop, z brudem płyt chodnikowych i szumem winyli. Vast się dostosowuje i trwa na przekór wszelkim modom - on po prostu robi ten rap i tyle. Szczery, zaskakujący, dowcipny, nieco od niechcenia. Może i moim faworytem pozostaje 'Look Mom... No Hands', ale ta płyta jest również czymś, co przyspiesza mi tętno i macha łepetyną. Świetne, jak zwykle.
* I found this album for about 5 euro - I was just happy about that, because Aire's debut album is lit and records from Cannibal Ox just raze the ears. Fourth album of Vast Aire just follows the path - ain't nothing changed. Hard, but great beats made by Pete Rock, Oh No, Melodious Monk and others is pure hip hop, with some dirt off the pavements and vinyl noise. Vast fits and goes along not looking back at the fashions - he just makes that rap and that's it. Honest, surprising, witty, a bit nonchalant. Maybe my favorite is still 'Look Mum... No Hands', but this one is also something that makes my pulse faster and makes my head nod. Great, as usually.
