ROYCE DA 5'9" – Death Is Certain

  [Koch 2004]

* As Royce doesn't have even albums, his second LP hits me definetly on point. This is one of not many of his works, which is lit from the beginning to the end. Excellent beats from Premier, Ty Fyffe or 6 July are full of samples of great choice, they are dark and raw. And Royce himself puts more fire into rhyming - he quotes a lot of classics (mostly Biggie and 2Pac), he disses a lot, but there's a place for thinking, maintaining and concluding. Perfect album, his best album imho!
