* Fouine to po francusku taki futrzasty szkudnik - kuna zdaje się mnie (jak ktoś zna lepiej francuski to niech poprawi, bo mnie się gdzieś wydra pałęta... Ale chyba kuna). Ale również taki kuni styl przyjął rapper La Fouine - mniej u nas znany, aczkolwiek jest on jedną ze znaczniejszych person na scenie francuskiej. To jest jego oficjalny debiut (choć szumu narobił wcześniejszym mikstejpem), którym wdarł się na stałe do annałów francuskiego hip hopu. Okazało się, że Marokańczyk spod Paryża może czuć ten funk i grać niczym ziomki z Kaliforni! Ale jeśli płytę produkują ci ci sami ludzie, co np. album Booby, to wiesz, że będzie dobrze! I jest naprawdę nieźle. Bo muzyka płynie - to nie jest typowy g-funk, ale raczej coś z kalifornijskich podwórek i plaż: czasem słonecznie i wręcz idyllicznie, czasem ciężej i brudniej. Ok, nie wszystkie teksty do mnie jakoś docierają (np. nieco infantylny 'kuni, kuni, kuni flow!; czy też wydrzy flow, nie zdecydowałem), ale jest dość dobrze. Bardzo fajna płyta, która utorowała gryzoniowi drogę do fejmu.
* Fouine is a furry vermin - a marten I believe (if you know French, correct me, but I think it's a marten... or a weasel). And that kind of marten style was taken by a rapper Le Fouine - he is less known here, but he is one of the top people at French rap scene. This is his official debut (he had also made some noise with his mixtape) which created him a broad way to the hall of fame of French rap. It showed that this Moroccan from PAris can feel the funk and play at the same level as peeps in California. But if the album is produced by the same producers who made Booba's album, you know it's good. And it really is. The music flows on - it ain't just a typical g-funk, rather something from Cali yards and beaches: sometimes sunny and idylically, sometimes harder and dirtier. Ok, not every song appeals to me (childish 'marten marten marten flow!'), but it is nice. Very good album, what made La Fouine's way to the fame.
