* W twórczość Manuvy wprowadził mnie Peesiks, który strasznie jarał się ta płytą. Kiedy ją usłyszałem, wiedziałem dlaczego! Przegrałem ja sobie na kasetę, potem na CDr kiedy miałem już możliwość (z kolorową, skserowaną okładką - legitnie!), aż wreszcie kupiłem oryginał. Bo warto! Jest to jedna z najlepszych płyt w Anglii, ba, nawet w całej Europie! Nieprawdopodobnie świeża, nic nie traci na wartości przez lata. Powolnie toczące się beaty, wsparte głębokim basem i dubowymi wstawkami to istny majstersztyk. No i sam Roots Manuva, obdarzony genialnym głosem i niezłymi tekstami - razem to brzmi zjawiskowo. Nie ma słabych momentów, nie ma wypełniaczy, a 'Motion 5000' wciąż wywołuje u mnie gęsią skórkę. Brylant!
* My man Peesiks got me into Manuva's music, he was really fond of this album. When I heard it, I already knew why! I recorded it on the tape, then on the CDr (with xerocopied covers! Legit!) until I finally bought an original copy. Because it is worth it! This is one of the best British albums, bah - in the whole Europe! Incredibly fresh, it hasn't lost a thing thru the years. Slowly moving beats supported by deep bass and dub inserts are real masterpieces. And Roots Manuva himself - he's got genious voice and good lyrics - together it makes an outstanding impression. No weaker moments, no fillers and 'Motion 5000' still gives me goosebumps. Brilliant!
