* Popek to postać bardzo szczególna na naszej scenie. Jedni określają to mianem cyrk, inni się jarają - dość, że jest to bardzo barwny rapper, zwłaszcza, jeśli patrzysz na jego ciało :P Mniejsza o to, zajmimy się raczej drugim jego krążkiem. Chociaż tu też mam mieszane uczucia. Z jednej strony to album perfekcyjnie wyprodukowany, soczyście grajmowy, mimo, że robili go i Polacy (Matheo i PAFF) i Brytyjczycy (Porchy i Steel Benglez). Muzyka brzęczy, wierci dziury w uszach elektroniką, ale czasem ociera się wręcz o klasyczne brzmienia. Fani grime będą zachwyceni (dla nich jest płyta z instrumentalami). Do tego dużym plusem są goście. Polskich można się spodziewać, choć może nie wszystkich: jest Sobota, Rena, Wini, Sokół, Paluch, Borixon, Słoń i oczywiście kolesie z Firmy: Bosski Roman i Tadek. Do tego, że na płytach Popka pojawiają się gwiazdy to już się przyzwyczailiśmy - tu akurat, poza koleżkami z Wysp typu Hijack Hood i Porchy, którzy występują z Popkiem nagminnie, jest też Wiley! Z drugiej strony zaś popkowe rapsy są dość proste, by nie rzec prostackie i choć pomysły ma niezłe, nie zawsze słucha się tego z przyjemnością. Ale w sumie na tej płycie Popka jest najmniej. Co ciekawe, płyta pokryła się złotem nie tylko w Polsce, ale też w... Czechach i na Słowacji. W Anglii już nie...
* Popek is a kinda specific person on our rap scene. Some call it a circus, some get lit wid it - it is just a colorful rapper, especially when you look at his body :P Doesn't matter his appearance, let's get to his second album and I have mixed feelings about that. Firstly, it is perfectly produced, juicy and grime - even if it was made by Polish producers, Matheo and p.a.f.f. and British (Porchy and Steel Benglez). The music rings, drills holes in the ears with electronics, but sometimes it comes close to classic sounds. Grime fans would be delighted (there's an instrumental version included). And there are some great guests. You can expect most of Polish rappers: Sobota, Rena, Wini, Sokół, Paluch, Borixon, Słoń and of course Popek's freinds from Firma: Bosski Roman and Tadek. We could also get used to the fact, that there are some famous people on Popek's albums - here, apart from British rappers Hijack Hood and Porchy, there's also Wiley! On the other hand the raps are rather churlish and even if the ideas are nice, not every song is pleasent. But, to be honest, there's the least of Popek here... Anyway, the album quickly went gold in Poland and even in Czech Republic and Slovakia - but not in England...
