* Plan B to cudowne dziecko brytyjskiego rapu, choć mogłem się o tym przekonać dopiero, kiedy kupiłem ten album na wyprzedaży w nieistniejącym już sklepie HMV przy Oxford Street w Londynie (szkoda, że sieć rozwiązali, mieli tam świetne wyprzedaże!). Udało mi się wówczas kupić wersję deluxe, czyli z drugim krążkiem z muzyką i snippetami z filmu o tym samym tytule. Pierwszy krążek bowiem, poza tym, że jest normalnym albumem, to stanowi też ścieżkę dźwiękową do wspomnianego obrazu. I mogła by to być genialna płyta: Plan B ma świetne teksty i wyborne flow. Jego historie to górna półka storytellingu. Niektóre podkłady to bomby. Ale... Wkradło się tu za dużo popowych patentów (włącznie ze śpiewaniem całych traków), a druga płyta nie wprowadza nic ciekawego, jedynie przerywniki muzyczne i gadki z filmu. Warto jednak płyty posłuchać, głównie z uwagi na samego rappera.
* Plan B is a wonder child of British music market, but I could get toknow about that only when I bought his albums in HMV at Oxford Street in London. It's a pity that that company doesn't exist any more, they had excellent sales there!). I managed to buy deluxe version which means it was extended by an extra disc with more music and some snippets from the film. Because the album is also a soundtrack to the film 'Ill Manors'. And that could be a genious record: Plan B has got great lyrics and pretty flow. His stories are top of storytelling. Some beats are bombs. But... He sneaked here too many pop ideas (including all singing parts) and the second disc doesn't bring anything else, only the interludes and film dialogues. But the album is worth listening, mainly because of the rapper.
