* Nabyłem ten mikstejp, choć nie bardzo wiedziałem kim jest Guce, ani nawet jak to wymawiać. W czasie odsłuchu zrobiłem risercz i okazało się, że to gość od Messy Marva i Killa Tay, a więc czołówki San Francisco. Guce (wymawiaj Dżus) to właściciel labelu Git Paid, głowa grupy Bullys Wit Fullys - i właśnie ten zespół niejako promowany jest tutaj. Na płycie sporo jest kolesi z SF i okolic (Killa Tay, Telly Mac, Bavgate, Mistah FAB, Boo Banger), ale i Dr. Dre, czy Xzibit. Jest sporo przechwałek i reprezentowania Bay Area na niezłych podkładach. Niektóre są nowe, zrobione specjalnie na potrzeby albumu, a część pochodzi od różnych innych artystów (Dogg Pound, Busta Rhymes, Ja Rule, Three 6 Mafia...). Słucha się tego bardzo fajnie, mikstejp jest atrakcyjny zwłaszcza dla fanów Bay Area. Nie słuchałem tego z dekadę co najmniej, a szkoda.
* I bought this mixtape, but I didn't know who Guce is and even how to pronounce his name. Listening to his album I made a research and I found out that it is a Killa Tay's and Messy Marv's mate - the top of San Francisco. Guce (pron. Juice) is an owner of Git Paid label, head of Bullys Wit Fullys crew - and this band is actually being promoted here. There are plenty of rappers from SF and surroundings (Killa Tay, Telly Mac, Bavgate, Mistah FAB, Boo Banger), but we also have Dr. Dre and Xzibit here. There's whole lot of bragging and Bay Area representin' on quite a nice beats. Some are brand new, some are taken from other artists (Dogg Pound, Busta Rhymes, Ja Rule, Three 6 Mafia...). It's nice to listen to it, the mixtape is attractive especially for them Bay Area fans. I hadn't been listening to this for over a decade, a pity.
