* Nederhop to dziwny twór. Holenderskie rymy, bezkompromisowa, hardkorowa muzyka i ten holenderski sznyt i dowcip. Osdorp Posse to jedni z pionerów stylu, a tu mamy ich trzeci album. To taka swoista mieszanka Public Enemy, Beastie Boys i niderlandzkich klimatów. Brudne gitary, ciężkie sample, łomoczące perkusje, dzikie skrecze i bezpośrednie teksty na temat sytuacji politycznej i społecznej. Na początku lat '90 to była rzecz, która zachwyciła zbuntowaną, holenderską młodzież, nic więc dziwnego, że Osdorp Posse zyskał dużą sławę w kraju i status legend. Osobiście szanuję te klimaty, choć wyznam, że mnie nie zawsze pociągają - zwłaszcza nie rozumiem fenomenu Osdorp Posse. Ale nie jestem Holendrem, może dlatego? Zbyt hałaśliwe, zbyt blisko punku. Ale coś w tym jednak jest...
* Nederhop it is kinda different. Dutch rhymes, no compromises in music and this Dutch sense of humour and vibe. Osdorp Posse is ona of the originators of this style and this is their third album. It is a mixture of Public Enemy, Beastie Boys and Nederland moods. Dirty guitars, hard samples, banging percussions, wild scratches and direct lyrics about the political and social situation in the Netherlands. In the beginnings of the '90s it was a thing that made rebellious Dutch youth extatic. No wonder that Osdorp Posse got a lot of fame in the country and they gained a legendary status. Personally I respect that flava, but it doesn't always attract me - especially I don't exactly understand the phenomenon of Osdorp Posse. But I ain't Dutch, maybe that is why? Too noisy, too close to punk music. But there's something in it...
