* Kiedy wyszła pierwsza płyta tego kubańskiego składu, wszyscy nabrali oddechu i słuchali niczym urzeczeni. Te rytmy, niezwykle melodyjne i wpadające w ucho refreny i rymowanie po hiszpańsku... Mnie też to wzięło. Potem okazało się, że to owszem, zespół kubański, ale na emigracji we Francji - stąd tytuł drugiego krążka. Początkowo próbowano zrobić wokół nich otoczkę uchodźców politycznych, ale bez jaj - w końcu są pierwszym zespołem rapowym, który został przyjęty przez Fidela Castro - na Kubie są bohaterami. Ich siła polega na tym, że czerpią z dwóch źródeł - klasycznego amerykańskiego rapu i swoich kubańskich korzeni. Daje to naprawdę gorącą mieszankę hip hopu i karaibskich rytmów (sporo salsy i rumby) - nie doszukujmy się tu tylko raggaton, to inna jazda. Fantastyczne, śpiewane refreny wkręcają się w uszy i siedzą tam głęboko. Goście umieją rymować, toastować, śpiewać i robią to dobrze. Oczywiście, trzeba lubić hiphopowe wycieczki w różne strony - ekstremiści tego nie zrozumieją, ale ja bardzo lubię - nawet jeśli debiut był sporo lepszy.

Of course, u gotta enjoy musical travels - orthodox won't understand this, but i like it very much - even if the debut album was much better.
