* Już kiedyś mówiłem, że Ludacris to jeden z tych rapperów, którzy robią świetne płyty, ale kiedy mam czegoś posłuchać, to raczej go omijam. Podobnie jest z jego grupą, choć DTP wcale nie jest słabym zespołem. Obok Ludy jest tu Shawnna, której solowe płyty są bardzo fajne, jest I-20, czy nieco słabsze Playaz Circle. Ale tu nie ma słabszych momentów, jest tu wszystko, co najlepsze w stylu crunk: porządne południowe produkcje i zróżnicowani rapperzy - choć i tak króluje tu Luda ze swoimi dowcipnymi puentami. Mnie osobiście bardzo wchodzi 'Play pen to the state pen' od Playaz Circle, którzy przerobili kilka rzeczy na raz, co dało fajny, zabawny kawałek. Album przemknął niezauważony, choć wypromowało się dzięki niemu kilka osób. Ja go całkiem lubię, fajne południowe granie bez zadęcia i nerwów.
* I told it once, that Luda is one of those rappers who make excellent records, but whenever I'm going to listen to something, I usually omit him. It's the same with his crew, but DTP is not a bad group. With Luda we have Shawnna, whose solo albums are very nice, there's I-20 or a bit worse Playaz Circle. But there ain't no weakmoments, everything is played best in crunk style: solid southern beats and varied rappers - but Luda is a true king here with his witty lyrics. As for me the best song here is 'Play pen to the state pen' of Playaz Circle, who remade a few known songs and that gave us nice, funny track. The album went almost unnoticed, but it promoted a few people. I like it quite much, good southern sound, not conceited nor aggressive.
