* Jako nastolatek kupiłem debiutancką kasetę East 17, bo 'House of Love' leciało wszędzie, a reszta numerów nie odstawała. Z rozpędu mam drugi album również - takie granie w latach 90 było na topie, nie ważne, że robiło to kilku białych chłopczyków z Londynu. Ostatnio sobie posłuchałem 'Steam', trochę nostalgicznie, ale przyznam, że nie mogę chłopaków zjebać jak bure suki, choć takie miałem nastawienie przed odsłuchem (pierwszy raz od kilkunastu lat). Po pierwsze, mają ładne głosy, potrafią śpiewać i rymować (nieco gorzej niż śpiewać). Po drugie, ja mam słabość do New Jack Swing, a oni wyraźnie próbowali wpisać się w klimat (trochę ciągnie Bell Biv DeVoe miejscami). Poza tym, mamy tu rap, house, ragga, r&b, skrecze, sample i różne temu podobne. Kto by pomyślał, że sprzedawali kiedyś więcej płyt, niż Take That z Robbie Williamsem? Podobno dlatego, że byli 'real to the game'. I co Ty na to?
