* Przez jakiś czas byłem zdezorientowany tym, że album ma dwie okładki: czerwoną i niebieską, a w dodatku zawartość jest nieco inna. Wreszcie po jakimś czasie dotarło do mnie, że niebieska to oryginał, a czerwona to reedycja z remiksami. Mam obie (czerwona ma singlową wersję 'Je danse le mia'!), ale nie umiem zdecydować, która lepsza. W każdym razie ten podwójny, drugi album kultowej grupy z Marsylii to sztos. W zasadzie nie ma tu słabego numeru, od kiedy zobaczyłem na żywo 'Le Shit Squad' we francuskiej tv, czy video do 'Je danse le mia' (tu w innej, ale nie słabej wersji), to wiedziałem, że będzie mi się ten album podobał. Egiptologiczne wrzuty, orientalne sample, klasyczne perkusje, skrecze - wszystko to sprawia, że płyta wkręca, nawet jeśli nie lubię podwójnych wydawnictw. Nie wspomniałem o Freemanie, Akhenatonie i Shurikenie, ale co tu dużo mówić, kiedy każdy z nich jest świetny na majku i słuchać ich to sama przyjemność - nawet jak nie znasz francuskiego. A jak znasz... to możesz się pogubić od ilości teorii spiskowych :) Niemniej jednak rapperzy poruszają wiele ważnych tematów, zatem klimat jest ciężki. Świetny album, jednej z francuskich klasyków na zawsze.
* I was confused when I saw this album has got two covers: red and blue and the content is different. Finally after some time I realised, that the blue one is an original version and the red one is reedition with remixes. I own both (there's a single version of 'Je danse le mia' on the red one!), but I can't decide which one is better. Anyway, this double album, second in the discography of this Marsille group is lit. Actually, there ain't no weak song - since I saw 'Le Shit Squad' on French TV and video for 'Je danse le mia' (here in different, but not worse version) I was sure that I'm gonna like this album. Egyptological throwbacks, oriental samples, classic percussions, scratches - everything drags you in - even if I don't like double albums. I didn't mention Freeman, Akhenaton and Shurik'n, but what shall I say, when everyone is great on the mic and it is a pleasure to listen to them, even when u can't understand French. But if u can... You can get lost in the sauce because of the abundance of conspiracy theories :) Anyway, the rappers touch many important topics, so the atmosphere is heavy. Excellent album, one of the French classics forever.
