* Nieco ponad kwadrans Cypress Hill na dubstepach - tak można krótko scharakteryzować tę EPkę. I w zasadzie wszystko jest już powiedziane :D To chyba najbardziej pomijane wydawnictwo grupy, która zrobiła pięć kawałków do podkładów Brytyjczyka Rusko, zajmującego się właśnie dubstepem. Jak to brzmi? Cóż, dziwnie. Z jednej strony ujarane wokale i tematy numerów pasują do wściekłych powarkiwań muzyki i dziwnie pociętych sampli. Z drugiej, CH to raczej mistyczne kawałki, ewentualnie rockowe, ale że tyle elektroniki? I choć pamiętam, że Sen lub B powiedzieli, że dubstep to następny krok ewolucji rapu (czy coś jak to), to wcale się nie dziwię, że większość fanów pomija ten krążek. Choć może nieco niesprawiedliwie. Osobiście rzadko wracam, ale czasem udaje mi się tego posłuchać - bez bólu. Ale i bez zbytniej ekstazy.
* A bit more than a quarter for Cypress Hill on dubstep beats - this is the shortest description of the EP. And everything is said. This is the most omitted release of the group - five songs produced by British Rusko, who deals with dubstep. How it sounds? Well, strange. On one hand stoned vocals and and the topics fit that barking music and weirdly cut samples. On the other hand tho, CH makes rather mystic shit, sometimes rock, but not with so much electronics. And I remember when Sen or B said, that dubstep is a next step for hip hop evolution (or something like that) - so I don't wonder why most of the fans forget about that one. Maybe it is not fair. Personally, I rarely come back to it, but when I listen to the EP - there's no pain. But there ain't no extasy either.
