* Trzeci album BDP dorwałem chyba jako ostatni dla mojej kolekcji. Pomimo niewątpliwych kamieni milowych dla rapu (You must learn, Jack of spades, Hip hop rules), jakoś wydaje mi się, że ten album jest nieco odstawiony na boczny tor. KRS'a zawsze bardzo lubiłem i ceniłem (ostatnio na starość mu nieco odwala...), zwłaszcza w latach '90, więc bardzo chętnie kupowałem wszystko, na czym był. Miałem BPD 'Sex And Violence' na taśmie, jarałem się, tak samo, jak solówkami, ale te starsze kawałki docierały do mnie bardzo powoli: głównie dzięki audycjom Bogny i Sławka, rzadziej puszczali je w MTV. A trzeci album BDP, złota płyta, naładowany jest nie tylko polityką, ale i typowym hip hopowym kontentem w stylu 'jebać wacków, zwłaszcza Juice Crew'. I przyznam, że materiał w ogóle się nie zestarzał, a wersy pasują jak ulał również dziś - może nie powinny dotyczyć Shan'a i ekipy z QB, ale wielu innych...
* The third album from BDP I bought as their last one in my collection. Even if there are some mile stones here (You must learn, Jack of spades, Hip hop rules), I had an impression, that this album is usually a bit forgotten by the fans. I have always liked and respected KRS 1 (he got a bit strange while older...), especially in the 90s, so I willingly was buying anything he appeared on. I had 'Sex And Violence' on tape, it was lit as much as his first solos, but the older things were coming to me very slowly: mostly from our two local radio shows with rap music, sometimes from MTV. And the third BDP album, gold certified, is stuffed with politics and typical hip hop content: fuck the wack, mostly Juice Crew. And I gotta admit that this material didn't get older and the verses fit today as well - they don't aim at Shan anymore, but the rest of the modern scene...
