* Mam zwyczaj ładowania po ok. 40 albumów na moją mp3 i łażę z tym po mieście. Często zapominam po jakimś czasie, co tam wpakowałem i w związku z tym miewam niespodzianki. Tak było z tą płytą. Idę sobie ulicą (pamiętam, że Rakowiecka w Warszawie, koło Gwardii) i właśnie wszedł ten album. Słucham i słucham i myslę: 'co to jest? Czego ja do cholery słucham?' Wydawało mi się, że De La Soul, bo brzmiało zupełnie podobnie, no ale przecież znałem na pamięć ówczesną dyskografię De La i byłem pewny, że to nie to. Męczyłem się chwilę, aby uprzytomnić sobie, co też ja tu zgrałem? Po czym sprawdziłem: no tak, Truth Enola! Nic dziwnego, że brzmi jak De La, przecież to ich wychowanek, większość krążka wyprodukowali Dave i Maseo, a sami się tu głosowo udzielają! Poza De La słychać też tu Mos Defa, Jean Grae i Phife Dawg'a i można śmiało powiedzieć, że ta płyta brzmi tak, jakby De La Soul zeszło do podziemia. Bardzo przyjemne.

I was bothering myself for a while, trying to remember what it could be and I just checked after a while. Yes, Truth Enola! No wonder it soulds like De La, because he is their protege, most of the album was produced by Maseo and Dave and De La voices are also there! Except for De La there's Mos Def, Jean Grae and Phife Dawg and it really sounds like De La went underground with this. Very nice!
