* Buck jest niesamowity. Jego głos jest naprawdę wyjątkowy, a nieco abstrakcyjne, ale bardzo mądre teksty stanowią tu największą siłę. Kiedy jeszcze dodamy dość ciężką i depresyjną muzykę, która mimo wszystko niesie do przodu i idealnie pasuje rapperowi - mamy kompletne dzieła. Ja nigdy nie wiem, ile konkretnie Buck wydał płyt, ale biorę wszystkie w ciemno. Ten akurat (jedenasty krążek?) to cały koncept, jedna całość, opowiadająca o sytuacji gdzieś w Kanadzie w latach '50. Buck wyciąga cały brud, zaśmiecający wtedy ludzkie serca i pokazuje, jak wiele z tego mamy jeszcze dziś. Skratch Bastid wyprodukował rap-bluesa, na którym Buck czuje się doskonale. Ból, płynący z wersów siada idealnie na tych chropowatych dźwiękach. Kanadyjczyk wymyka się wszystkim schematom, ale jest dość trudny w odbiorze - albo go lubisz, albo nie. Ja, osobiście bardzo.
* Buck is incredible. His voice is unique and his abstract, but very clever lyrics are the main force here. When we add hard and depressive music that moves on and fits the rapper's flow perfectly - this is a full work. I never know how many albums has Buck released, but I buy them all. This one (eleventh?) is a concept album, telling the story taking place somewhere in Canada in the '50s. Buck takes all the dirt out off the people's hearts and shows how much of it is still here. Skratch Bastid produced this rap-blues and Buck feels so comfy on those beats. The pain in the verses sits perfectly on that ruff music. The Canadian sneaks off all the schemes, but he may be difficult in reception. You like him or not. Me, personally, I do much.
