* Przyznam, że choć mam płyty Petey'a, to leżały sporo czasu na półce i w sumie zapomniałem, co na nich jest. Postanowiłem więc odświeżyć sobie jego drugi album, który w Stanach poszedł w złoto. Odświeżyłem i... zostałem odświeżony. Nie pamiętałem płyty w ogóle, a okazało się, że jeśli ma być crunk, to tylko właśnie taki! Muzyka jest bardzo konkretna, robiona przez Lil Jon'a, Mannie Fresh'a, czy Scott Storch'a - nakręca tempo bardzo ładnie. Lirycznie może nie ma tu nic i są spore płycizny, ale styl i klimat tejże płytkości jest wyborny. Do tego mamy tu Missy, Bubba Sparxa, Jon'a, Young Bucka, Birdmana... Normalnie odkryłem płytę na nowo po 15 latach :) Bardzo fajne!
* I must admit, that even if i have Petey's albums, they were shelved for a long time and actually I forgot what's in there. So I decided to refresh his second album, which gained gold in the USA. So I refreshed and... became refreshed. I didn't remember the album at all, but it showed if there's gotta be crunk - it gotta be like that. Music is solid, made by Lil Jon, Mannie Fresh and Scott Storch - it speeds up the pace. Lyrically there's nothing much and it's just too shallow, but the style and vibe of this shoal is just dope. And we have here also Missy, Bubba Sparx, Jon, Young Buck, Birdman... Damn, I dscovered this album again after 15 years :) Very nice!
