* 'Reasonable Doubt' mnie powalił. Kolejne albumy zniesmaczyły na tyle, że piąty krążek Jehovy w ogóle pominąłem i w ogóle pogubiłem się w tych Blueprintach. Dynastię kupiłem z dekadę później, bo wpadła mi w ręce na jakiejś wyprzedaży. Pamiętając mój stosunek do płyt nr 2-4 Jay'a, byłem sceptyczny. Aż tu nagle... Włączyłem bardzo przyzwoity krążek, nawiązujący nie do tej tandety z poprzednich, ale do czystej esencji pierwszej płyty. Trochę to solówka, trochę składanka prezentująca talenty labelu Roc-A-Fella, ale wyszło to tylko na lepsze. Świetne podkłady (ze szczytu formy Neptunsów i Just Blaze, ale i Kanye west, czy Rockwilder też śmigają), które machają głową - nie ma plastiku, nie ma lipy. Lirycznie sporo tu takich osób jak Beanie Sigel i Memphis Bleek, ale to też raczej zaleta - zwłaszcza, jeśli chodzi o Sigela. Chyba jedna z lepszych płyt Jay'a jak dla mnie.
* 'Reasonable Doubt' killed me. But the next albums made me sick, so I just avoided the album number five and I got lost in between the Blueprints. I bought 'Dynasty' about 10 years later, only because I found it at the sale. Remembering my attitude towards albms number 2-4, I was sceptical. But suddenly...I heard a really solid album, that took me back to to those tainted ones, but to the pure essence of the debut. It's something between a solo album and a compilation of Roc-A-Fella Records, but it just made i better. Excellent beats (top of the Neptuns skills adn Just Blaze, but also we got some music from Kanye West or Rockwilder) that nod yo head - no plastic shit, no wack stuff. Lyrically there are plenty of heads like Beanie Sigel and Memphis Bleek, but it is also advantage - especially when it comes to Sigel. On eof the best Jay's efforts imho.
