* Długo wzbraniałem się przed tą płytą, choć leżała tu i tam za grosze. Ale zobaczyłem ten krążek u paru kolekcjonerów, więc pomyślałem, że w sumie 5 złych to nie majątek, najwyżej wywalę... Ale nie, nie trzeba było. To taki house, połączony z rapem i nieco funkiem w przyjemny sposób. Kojarzy mi się to z nieco ostrzejszą wersją Soul II Soul, który to zespół osobiście naprawdę lubię. Ciepłe brzmienia na housowych beatach plus nieco rymów i śpiewanych refrenów - takie dość oczywiste brzmienie hip house - a to było coś, co uwielbiałem na przełomie lat '80 i '90. Zaskakująco sympatyczna rzecz.
* I saw this album for many times in diffeent shops and for cheap, but I struggled not to buy it. But I noticed that some collectors have this one as well, so I decided to give it a chance - 1 euro is not much in a whole. If it was a miss, I'd throw it away, but nah, that wasn't necessary. The sound consists of house combined with rap and some funk in a very pleasent way. Kinda ruffer version of Soul II Soul - and I like this band. Warm sounds on house beats plus some rhymes and singing hooks - it's quite obvious sound of hip house - and that was something I loved at the break of the '80s and '90s.
